What have you sacrificed?

so...

like two months ago I decided to send out a random text message to everyone in my phone asking one question- "What is the biggest thing you have sacrificed in order to help someone else?"

these are the answers I got-

1- "gettin caught by the cops." --past curfew, I promise I am not friends with criminals...lol... he walked a friend home cause she felt unsafe and was caught after curfew hours... those suck for teens!

2- "I don;t know if this counts but one year around Christmas my ward went up to flag or Payson and cut down a bunch of Christmas trees for needy families."

3- "I have no clue obviously not that much if I can't remember"

4- "I don't know. Why?"

5- "my home" I was confused so I said what and he replied "for my mom" moving cross states sucks!

6- "Uh? I have given up my social life to try and help someone by just being with them... but in the end they died. but I think it helped them while they were alive"

7- "Prolly give up my whole summer just 2 help my mom and our respitecare provider dat just got over cancer with the kids"

well I got 7 answers... and some I was just like wow I could kiss them right on the cheek but others were sad... I did explain the ones I would know cause I am friends with them and you wouldn't as a reader cause well you have no idea who they are...

I want to say I appreciate any sacrifice given for the world or for someone else. And we don't have to sacrifice huge things to be good people... I mean I know that number 4 is a fantastic wonderful friend... and all around is an amazing person who has never in my life I have seen been mean to anyone. So I wasn't showing who is better here... I was giving examples as more of a... way to prob your mind. Think about what you have given up in your life to help someone else... no matter how little or big be proud that you care enough to give. And try to do more if possible...

Thank you to the friends that did reply I loved hearing it all... =)

Cancer Hats...

So the church I go to does this once a month humanitarian project thing! lol Well I went last time and learned how to make yarn hats that are donated to people with Cancer! It is incredibly easy process that is time consuming. However I enjoy it and I can sit and watch TV (the few times I ever do...) and easily finish a hat in about two hours... so far I have only made one... and I need to learn to finish it the right way... however I'm just learning and am very excited about this. I am willing to make a bunch and donate them also... I think I might sell them too... 5 bucks all profits go to the Heifer Organization. (If you want to know about Heifer there is a link on the right side..) anyway it's something... when I make a couple of them I'll put up pictures... lol anyone wanting to be involved with this let me know.. I'll see what I can do to help.

So I am excited...

the post before this the Law of Garbage Trucks, I have to admit I thought was just a cool story that someone had made up... Well I posted the story because I believed it had amazing life lessons that were told in a simple way and I just LOVE IT!

well I got commented on that post from a man named Chris who informed me it's a real thing and it's an entire organization...

it amazed me and I checked out the cites and the author's blog, David J. Pollay. Well I just wanted to set that strait and I encourage anyone who reads this to go check out the cites. It's really cool. I'm still on them both right now.. and I am reading more but here is the link's and I'll link the main cite on the right too...

The Law of the Garbage Truck

(this was an email I got it's a forward and I love it)

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches!

The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly.
So I asked, "Why did you just do that? This guy almost caused an accident and sent us to the hospital!" This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, "The Law of the Garbage Truck."
He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, full disappointment and rage. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't pick up their garbage and spread it to other people in your life, whether at work, at home, or to people that you don't even know on the streets.
Always remember that good people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so.....
"Love the people who treat you right and forgive the ones who don't."

Linked to Worlds Bleeds?

Hey if you have a blog that you want to be linked from this site in the supporters section... let me know... I wouldn't mind adding more names down there... but just let me know.

Oh both mine and Mike's blogs are linked down there too... just click on it! =)
Always Smile...

Smiles are contagious. Help someone in a bad mood and simply smile at them. You will never ever know how much you have touched them with just a smile.

And not only a smile but any action at all could touch someone.

Personal story...
I was at Fry's with my mom shopping... and the entrance has potted flowers for sell around it inside... like right as you walk in...
So one of the pots was on its side and I stopped and picked it up and placed it upright... then got up and walked quickly to my mom... Well this guy walked past me as I was picking up the flower and he smiled. Big smile.

It just struck me... I honestly didn't think picking up the flower pot was that big of a deal and anyone could be affected by it... It just surprised me to see him smiling at me because I picked it up... or at least thats what it seemed like to me...

I'm sharing this because you never really know how your actions will affects others... and some people don't think about it, but I am asking you to think about how what you do affects those around you.

Spread Peace

The Host

The Host by Stephenie Meyer has been my latest book discovery. I have just finished chapter 5 and I couldn't go on until I said something about this one paragraph. It was the kind of paragraph you re-read at least 3 times because it is like "BAM!" it hit home. It truly is the most honest true thing about human lives today in one paragraph I have EVER read.

I haven't read it all the way through and already I am in love with this book. I want to share this one paragraph, but first I think you need a tiny tiny bit of plot. The host is a human body the parasite is an alien. So far this book has touched so much on the value of life itself. I am simply amazed. The paragraph that has amazed me comes from the alien inside this woman's body, it is the alien's thoughts. By the way it's page 47 if you wanted to look for yourself.

"But we were not wasteful. We did make whatever we took better, more peaceful and beautiful. And the humans were brutish and ungovernable. They had killed one another so frequently that murder had been an accepted part of life. The various tortures they devised over the few millennia they'd lasted had been too much for me; I hadn't been able to bear even the dry official overviews. Wars had raged over the face of nearly every continent. Sanctioned murder, ordered and viciously effective. Those who lived in peaceful nations had looked the other way as members of their own species starved on their doorstep. There was no equality to the distribution of the planet's bounteous resources. Most vile yet, their offspring - the next generation, which my mind nearly worshiped for their promise- had all too often been victims of heinous crimes. And not just at the hands of strangers, but at the hands of the caretakers they were entrusted to. Even the huge sphere of the planet had been put into jeopardy through their careless greedy mistakes. No one could compare what had been and what was now and not to admit that Earth was a better place thanks to us."

The Chambers of a Human Heart

Fear-torture-hate-pain-sorrow-wrong

It’s all the same, in the chambers of a human heart

In the chambers of the human heart we hide our deepest fears.

In the chambers of a human heart we tear ourselves apart.

In the chambers of human heart does hatred fill.

In the chambers of a human heart is where the pain resides.

In the chambers of a human heart is where our sorrow lie.

In the chambers of the human heart is where the most could ever go wrong.

In the deepest chamber of the human heart resides an emotion, so strong it can conquer any other pain that traps our heart within.

We only have to try and find it beneath the chambers of pain.
We need to release this emotion that’s hardly seen anymore.

Love is needed by this world.

Failure

It's okay to cry especially when you fail, male or female, remember that. Life is too tuff not to cry. Cry and get it all out. And always be sure to know that no matter who you are someone loves you and you can talk to them anytime. holding back emotions can hurt yourself. It really can. Honestly I think everyone should take a self improvement class. I seriously do. Try to improve who are everyday. Set goals, write them down, succeed. I know anyone can succeed as long as they try. The impossible won't always be impossible. So never quit.

I have an idea I would like you to think about, as small toddlers we had to learn to walk. We would try and try so hard but always fall. we weren't born walking. We had to learn it. And we failed. Every single human being failed at least once at walking. We fell hard sometimes because we couldn't walk. I want to say congratulations to everyone who can walk or talk you didn't give up. You failed and failed but learned from those failures to succeed. Just imagine how much mankind wouldn't be able to do if we all just gave up on if it was too hard.

We were born to fail, and then to learn from those failures.

So a quote from ALexander Graham Bell, the claimed inventor of the telephone,

"When one door closes another door opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us."

Don't let your failures get in the way. They really are a learning exprience. When you "fail" it's more like you learned how not to do something. =)

Just remember failures are good if you learn from them and do better next time.

Peace and love always

YOU CAN'T

Honestly the words "you can't" have been ringing in my ears. After a fight, everything seemed to crash down. Last night was awful, however this blog is not about me. So I won't go into any details, but I do need to say something.

When you are told "you can't" do something, DON'T believe it. never give up on your dreams. So many many people truged through life aimlessly. THey get up go to school/work, home, eat, sleep and then repeat. No purpose, get food on the table, do what they are told because they don't know any different. All around them people telling them "you can't!"

Well guess what I CAN!!! I am not and never will give up on my dreams. Impossible dream, maybe; but I want my dream so bad I'm willing to work forever for that impossible thing. You want to know my dream, my dream is that mankind as a whole gets more accepting, we don't judge others and there is the closet thing to peace in this world. THere will be NO murders, no rapes, no sexual molestation of any kind, nothing bad. Imposible it may seem so but I have to try to do something to fix the awful problems in this world. I have to, I live here and my family lives here and my friends and people I don't even know live on this planet. I can't let it go on how it is continually suffuring, people murdered, people miserable. I hate the pain in this world and I am going to try my hardest to make a difference. I have to.

A truth that affects us all

People don't want to see the pain the world is suffering. Global warming is real. It’s a real, awful truth and what’s being done about it? Absolutely nothing. Maybe people are unaware of the increasing climate, or some believe it will be a good climate change for the world, or perhaps they have given up hope because it’s pointless to be the only one fixing the problem that seems impossible to fix in the first place. Whatever the reason may be, efforts to relieve global warming are minimal.
It’s not an issue for most people living on the planet that is rapidly changing for the bad. According to Darren K. Clarkson’s survey called “Concern About Environmental Problems” that was taken in 2002-2003, only twenty six percent of the people surveyed thought that Global Warming or the greenhouse effect was a problem that was “a great deal.” Well, to inform the other 74 percent, Global Warming causes a climate shift with the entire planet that could be devastating. It’s a global problem, that effects anyone living on this planet, that you need to learn. Also for those who say the climate shift would actually be beneficial, as the earth gets warmer the ice in the North Pole and South Pole regions melt. The water from the ice has to go somewhere and that somewhere would be flooding low sea level towns where people live.
However, of that 26 percent who thought it was “a great deal,” it didn’t say how many were doing something about this issue. So who knows what’s being done from just the citizens?
The real cause of global warming is the gases that are polluted into the air mostly by factories and cars. So instead of reducing these gases, Matthew L. Wald suggests, in The New York Times Article, “Running in Circles Over Carbon”, that these gases be stored and reused elsewhere. “Emissions from coal-fired power plants already account for about 27 percent of American greenhouse emissions…” This would eliminate a lot of the pollution being spread into our planets atmosphere causing the global warming. The problem with this is the initial cost for the technology to be put in place is too much for companies to spend.
Other suggestions, like using solar or wind powered energy to cut down the carbon being polluted by coal burning energy source, are also too expensive. So companies are not doing anything about this problem.
Citizens are not concerned with this issue for the most part. Companies, that are primarily causing the problem, are also unconcerned. So again nothing is being done for the environment that is being warmed.
The problem will simply continue, as the people concerned about it continue to write out columns no one reads, as scientists research the subject, as people argue if it’s even happening or not. The facts are there, there is no denying it. However there is not a simple way to fix it.
While all the debate is going on about what to do to fix this problem, it’s only getting worse. The longer we put off this problem the more serious it will be. So now the only question about global warming anyone can ask is; “Do you care about your planet enough to do something to fix this devastating problem?” I wouldn’t simply answer this question, but prove it.

A truth thats frightening

"According to Charles Keating of Citizens for Decency Through Law, research reveals that 77% of child molesters of boys and 87% of child molesters of girls admitted imitating the sexual behavior they had seen in pornography they had watched. Roughly 33% of girls and 14% of boys are molested before the age of 18, according to the U.S. Justice Department. Nearly 2/3 of all sexual assaults reported involved minors and roughly 1/3 involved children under the age of 12. In most cases, however, child molestation goes unreported. Estimates are that only 35% of sexual abuse is reported. Kids can be frightened or embarrassed and many times do not say anything." (http://www.childmolestationvictim.com/statistics.html)

I was doing some research on this subject and honestly what I found frightened me. It's a scary thought. Honestly I believe rape in so so many ways is worse than ending a person’s life. You know afterwards it ends for the molester but it never ends for that child. They have to live with the fact they couldn’t or didn’t protect themselves because they were afraid. So if you’re reading this and you have molested someone… fix it as best as you can now. I know there is not much to be done but you do whatever you can to make sure it DOESN’T happen again. That is my advice.

On the other hand, if you have been a victim, you need to speak. DO something talk, scream, yell, cry, sleep next to your mother at night even if you’re 26. If you need that do it. Talk to someone. Talk to someone who you can trust. Just talk. That is honestly the best thing in the world. Talk to someone and then move from there. That is only a first step and I’m sure it’s not the hardest one. (Honestly if you feel you have no where to turn you can email me and I will be glad to talk to you, even if I don’t even know you I will help as much as I can. However I encourage you to talk to someone who is family or even your best friend. But talk please talk. Holding it in can kill.)

Parents… this life is so crazy and honestly there is so much evil everywhere. Sometimes you can’t protect your children. I know it’s awful to say that. I know you feel responsible to make sure they grow up safe and they become good people and that’s your job as a parent: but honestly sometimes you just can’t. You’re a human being; you can never face the evils of the entire world on your own. Honestly I say it’s better not to. Also sounds bad but life is about learning from struggles to find the happiness. It’s there just sometimes it hides. And I am not saying cause struggles, by no means cause more struggles. I’m saying if they happen, they happen: just help your child learn from them and learn from it yourself. Do what you can to protect them, they are so precious. Children really are so precious. They are only a child once. Teach them to love and not hate. Hate only causes you to give power to the person you do hate. Let go of anger. Find joy. Spend every time you have with your child they will need it. find peace even in the bad find peace. One last thing if you find out your child has been molested, help them. Don’t blame yourself for not being able to protect them when it happened. Protect them now. Help them, cry with them, talk with them, tell them you love them, be proud they have the courage to speak and tell them that, just help them. Ask them what they need. They might say “I don’t know” but you tell them if they need anything they can ask. Talk to them always, and hug them tight, it will help them to know you love them. It really will. And talk to them about rape and molestation before it even happens to help them understand it’s wrong. Also helps them know if it happens they need to tell. Talk to your children and always help them. They are vulnerable because they don’t know a lot of things about the world. Sadly people take advantage of that. Help your kids.

Even something as bad as this can have a good outcome. I know that sounds bad too. However everything has a purpose in life. Don’t stress so much live life, find joy. And most importantly help those when they reach out but more important help them when they don’t too.

Tolerance Verses Acceptance

The meaning of each word in the dictionary...

Tolerance: the act of putting up with somebody or something irritating or otherwise unpleasant

Acceptance: willingness to treat somebody as a member of a group or social circle

I think many people are tolerant, which is better than not being tolerant at all (however a lot of people are not tolerant at all), but I think to learn acceptance will truly change this world.

BE friendly. Actually talk to your neighbors and learn acceptance.

AGREE TO DISAGREE!!!

and most importantly Serve others.

Gunga Din...

SO I have a challenge for everyone. Challenge is to be like Gunga Din. Most of you have no idea what I'm talking about however I'll tell you.

Today in my English 101 class I learned about the man who wrote the Jungle Book. His name is Rudyard Kipling. He also wrote a poem called Gunga Din. It's amazing. I love it. Thought I would share it because it gives an amazing message about human value. And one thing to remember when reading it is; that when it was written in the 1880's it was common thinking that white people where superior. So for this to be published back then it's even more amazing. No it's not racist. It's the opposite actually. Well enjoy reading the poem.

"YOU may talk o' gin an' beer
When you're quartered safe out 'ere,
An' you're sent to penny-fights an' Aldershot it;
But if it comes to slaughter
You will do your work on water,
An' you'll lick the bloomin' boots of 'im that's got it.
Now in Injia's sunny clime,
Where I used to spend my time
A-servin' of 'Er Majesty the Queen,
Of all them black-faced crew
The finest man I knew
Was our regimental bhisti, Gunga Din.

It was "Din! Din! Din!
You limping lump o' brick-dust, Gunga Din!
Hi! slippy hitherao!
Water, get it! Panee lao!
You squidgy-nosed old idol, Gunga Din!"

The uniform 'e wore
Was nothin' much before,
An' rather less than 'arf o' that be'ind,
For a twisty piece o' rag
An' a goatskin water-bag
Was all the field-equipment 'e could find.
When the sweatin' troop-train lay
In a sidin' through the day,
Where the 'eat would make your bloomin' eyebrows crawl,
We shouted "Harry By!"
Till our throats were bricky-dry,
Then we wopped 'im 'cause 'e couldn't serve us all.

It was "Din! Din! Din!
You 'eathen, where the mischief 'ave you been?
You put some juldee in it,
Or I'll marrow you this minute,
If you don't fill up my helmet, Gunga Din!"

'E would dot an' carry one
Till the longest day was done,
An' 'e didn't seem to know the use o' fear.
If we charged or broke or cut,
You could bet your bloomin' nut,
'E'd be waitin' fifty paces right flank rear.
With 'is mussick on 'is back,
'E would skip with our attack,
An' watch us till the bugles made "Retire."
An' for all 'is dirty 'ide,
'E was white, clear white, inside
When 'e went to tend the wounded under fire!

It was "Din! Din! Din!"
With the bullets kickin' dust-spots on the green.
When the cartridges ran out,
You could 'ear the front-files shout:
"Hi! ammunition-mules an' Gunga Din!"

I sha'n't forgit the night
When I dropped be'ind the fight
With a bullet where my belt-plate should 'a' been.
I was chokin' mad with thirst,
An' the man that spied me first
Was our good old grinnin', gruntin' Gunga Din.

'E lifted up my 'ead,
An' 'e plugged me where I bled,
An' 'e guv me 'arf-a-pint o' water—green;
It was crawlin' an' it stunk,
But of all the drinks I've drunk,
I'm gratefullest to one from Gunga Din.

It was "Din! Din! Din!
'Ere's a beggar with a bullet through 'is spleen;
'E's chawin' up the ground an' 'e's kickin' all around:
For Gawd's sake, git the water, Gunga Din!"

'E carried me away
To where a dooli lay,
An' a bullet come an' drilled the beggar clean.
'E put me safe inside,
An' just before 'e died:
"I 'ope you liked your drink," sez Gunga Din.
So I'll meet 'im later on
In the place where 'e is gone—
Where it's always double drill and no canteen;
'E'll be squattin' on the coals
Givin' drink to pore damned souls,
An' I'll get a swig in Hell from Gunga Din!

Din! Din! Din!
You Lazarushian-leather Gunga Din!
Tho' I've belted you an' flayed you,
By the livin' Gawd that made you,
You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din"

I LOVE IT!!!

Peace
Brooke

Baby Steps

I have thought my entire life I can’t change the world it’s too hard. It’s too big a job for me. How can I do this? Life tears people down at times. Bosses, friends, family, and relationships: they can tear us down. However they can also build you up. Remember that. Don’t tear others down, build them up. You can’t go from birth one second then a famous musician the next. You must start at the baby steps. Don’t worry, you can make it. Life is good or bad. It really depends on how you take life and make it. It truly is about you attitude. I know if I look at the world and say the problems are too big for me, they will only get bigger and I won’t be trying. So I look at the world and say I have to start. I can do this baby steps is a start. This is just a start. This blog is just a start. I hope you find it amazing you are there for The World Bleeds baby steps. Also I hope you make your own in becoming a better person to improve this world. To stop world hunger, global warming, genocide, rapes, murders… and so much more that goes on in this life. No one is a lost hope remember that. Everyone can move on, simply try. Go do something now. Baby steps will lead us to walking to running to flying. What are your baby steps?

Protesting!

So this is America and we do have every right to protest things... Here is my ONLY problem with protesting: IT BECOMES VIOLENT!!! listen not everyone needs to see things your way. Peacefully protest! If you disagree discussions on points are okay but here is the thing one person state their views then the other... don't interupt because then people get angry and it turns into a heated arguement then we get so worked up that we end up fist fighting and beating each other up emotionally with words and physically and it can get worse than that. Weapons get involved.

Listen I'm not saying protesting is not bad I believe people should stand up for what they believe especially when human beings or animals or the enviroment is being harmed. However remember that violence causes wars not a solution. My advice is be understanding in protest on both ends. And I know their are some people who are so into what they protest they won't hear a word from anyone who apposes them, but set the example for them. Be understanding. More impotantly be open minded to at least listen to what others say.

Thats my advice, take it or leave it: it's your choice. Just do me one favor at least think about what I've said. Thanks. I hope you find the joys in this wonderful life.

Ronald McDonald House Charities

Alright... mostly on this blog I think it seems that we are asking you to do big things to change the world...well the world needs big change. However, you don't have to be the only one trying to make the change big. A simple way to get involved (and this will be easy for most households considering the ammount of soda everyone drinks) is collect your pop tabs. The Ronald McDonald House Charities collects them. They work with Recycling centers and get money back for your recycled pop tabs. All this money goes back into communities. The Ronald McDonald program well they do a lot. I honestly recomend going to they web cite and just checking it out, besides that it will make you want to donate much more. Also the link below will bring to their ways-to-help page from there, there is a link for drop off centers for the pop tabs. There are very very very many centers in the U.S. Desert Ridge High School's Theatre department collects them also if you happen to go there. THey will gladly take them. Most schools do collect the pop tabs. If none of the above work out for you contact us and we will gladly try to work something out with you to make it easy on you. Please just keep this in mind next time you drink soda or anything with a pop tab, it can help!

Some updates

Well it's been awhile now, since we have posted. I feel as though I don't know where exactly I'm headed with this blog. I want it to be inspiring and not all informational about all the bad things in the world. I want to show the bad things but even more important the good things in the world also. I feel I have been focusing too much on Romeo and Juliet (I was in the play) and I didn't have time for this or my boyfriend, or my friends. This saddened me greatly. I mean here I am making all my time about something I love to do not about the people I love. I try my hardest and this is a promise I will work harder on this cite and simply trying to be better. This is my main goal. I'll make it a big priority!

Anyway, I sincerly hope everone who reads this has a wonderful day, week and year and life. That they look for the joy all around them and overcome the bad. Remember you are never alone when things get bad. There is always somewhere you can go to simply talk if you need it. I love this world and am sad at how it is being destroyed and thats why I'm trying to change it because I love it. I hope you do the same.

Are you weak or strong

Why is it so hard to bend down and pick up a small piece of trash?
Why is it so hard to turn off the lights or the tv when you exit the room?
Why is it so so hard to think of the worlds problems?
Why is it so hard to say no when drugs are being passed around?
Why is it so hard to say no to 4 dollars (Yes 4 now) for a box of girl scout cookies that will make you fat and you really don't need?
Why is it so hard to wake up in the morning to go to school for eight hours a day?
Why is it so hard to help someone else on the side of the road?
Why is it so hard to love?
Why is it so hard to hear the voices crying in the wind?
Wy is it so hard to take a moment one single act and do something fantastic with it?
Why is it so hard to read these questions without crying?
Why is it so hard to call a family member in another state with a birthday today?
Why is it so hard for factories to clean the air they use?
Why is it so hard to try and produce products from things less dangerous to the inviroment?
Why is it so hard for people to realize the impact human kind have on global warming?
Why is it so hard to not think about the world we live in thats dieing?

And why may I ask

Why is it so easy to drive 10 miles out of your way to pick up a friend for a party?
Why is it so easy to turn on every light and the house and all the 7 billion tv's and forget all of it as you drift of to sleep will the tv continues on with whatever smutty program playing today?
Why is it so easy to busy yourself up with video games and zone out in front of the tv?
Why is it so easy to get high or drunk once and kill someone's life behind a wheel?
Why is it so easy to say no to charity raising money for a good cause?
Why is it so easy to stay up all night on the computer, on the phone or textin?
Why is it so easy to see the pain in other countries and your own and just turn off the news to some program that won't make you think?
Why is it so easy to focus on what we don't have compared to what we do have?
Why is it so easy to forget family but when a friend is in need you drop everything?
Why is it so easy to think of yourself before others?
Why is it so easy to pollute the air?
Why is it so easy to breathe it all in and not realize something is wrong with it?
Why is it so easy to burn down a forest just to begin a new crop?
Why is it so easy to think the world is invinsible?

I'll tell you why. The strong stand a few and alone while the weak stand a many and together wondering around looking for nothing.

Are you the weak or the strong?
Only you can answer that question by your actions and not your words!

Darfur Now

The Islamic government of Sudan is engaged in Genocide. The Fur, Maslit, and Zaghawa natives of the Darfur region of Sudan are being massacred by the Islamic government with the aid of there Janjaweed forces (pictured below).

These attacks have been aimed at civilian villages. The village is not just destroyed, it is wiped out, appearing as ruins of an ancient civilization. The attacks are led by the Sudanese military then joined by the more violent Janjaweed. The Sudanese military and the Janjaweed forces are almost indistinguishable, minus the fact that the Janjaweed ride on horseback.

The systematic exterimation of these people is going on right now. As you worry about buying the newest game for your PlayStation or Xbox, millions are fighting there way through the desert to find there way to a refugee camp.

Thousands have been driven out of there homes and killed because they oppose the Islamic rule. They are starving while you throw away your left overs. They weep for families killed by forgiegn rulers. A blind woman looks for salvation is barren desert, who will help her? Who will stand up and help all those in pain, all those suffering while you enjoy American life? We will.

Send what you can to Darfur though the Red Cross to help those in pain.

Those who are hungery. Those who cry for aid, for love, for American life. Please don't read this cry for a moment then go on with your life. Do something now!!!!

Why this was started.

The world... it's become a sad sad place. it's sad and lonely at times. Their is so much pain. It's like over time we rip a small whole into our lives..into the world. Well that whole kept ripping and ripping, because no one saw it was there. However now it's so big some are overwelmed by what to do to fix it. It's not like a huge band-aid will fix this. There is not a band-aid big enough. But I believe one person can start to sew that whole back up. One person can't do it alone. It's too big a job for one, but if that one person starts who knows where it could lead. So this blog has been started as a way to inspire others.
I hope that you read this and you are touched. I hope you strive to make a difference in this world. It's not a lost hope to change it. Everything can change if there is a need for it to change. The world needs to change. It needs more hope. It's a hiding hope only few have found, but it's there. No matter how impossible it seems it won't become more possible if someone doesn't try to make it seem less impossible.
These are my words for you to ponder. I strive to help the world somehow. I hope with all my heart you think about helping too. that's the first step; just think about it.
